I saw this on another teacher's blog and since I don't have anything interesting to write about...voila!
Seven things to do before I die:
1. Become fluent in Spanish
2. Have 2 more babies while married
3. Grow a green thumb
4. Travel to Europe
5. Love and be loved in return
6. Learn to play an instrument
7. Get a Ph.D.?
Seven things I cannot do:
1. Walk without tripping
2. Talk without mixing up words
3. Speak without sarcasm
4. Stop worrying
5. Cook scrambled eggs worth eating
6. Stay logical when I don't trust someone
7. Eat lamb, veal, or liver (ugh)
Seven things that attracted me to teaching:
1. Nurturing little people to be loving and compassionate
2. Sharing my love of books
3. Getting kisses and hugs every day
4. Providing a positive school experience
5. Promoting value of education
6. Exposing children to outside-of-the-box thought processes
7. Challenging children to ask "why" again and again and again
