You're like school on Saturday...No Class.

Catch the Fat Albert reference? I had another busy weekend. Friday night I had the best intentions...go out to dinner, study at coffee shop, get good night's sleep. Instead, I went to a bar after dinner with friends, went to another bar to see a band that sucked a little bit if you ask me, went back to first bar, went over to friend's house with other friends, stayed there till 6-ish, went to restaurant for breakfast with friends, came home, took shower, went to school to teach Saturday school. Notice I didn't say sleep anywhere? For christ's sake, what do I think I'm 20? Needless to say, Saturday school did not go well and I had to leave early because I felt like such ass. Never again.

The highlight of my night was when someone remembered the Saturday morning cartoon, Kidd Video (catch you on the flipside?)...actually he read my mind. I asked him if he watched a lot of Saturday morning cartoons and he goes, "Kidd Video!" Which freaked me the fuck out because the reason I asked is that I couldn't remember the name of that show and I was going to describe it to see if anyone remembered. But I hadn't even begun when he said the name!

Then I went to a wedding in San Antonio that was at a most delightful bed & breakfast named Paniolo Ranch. It woulda been a lot better if I had slept for more than 2 hours in the last 24 hours. Oh well. It was still really priiiiiiitty. Then B and I spent the night, drove back home the next morning, and I headed straight to a wedding shower for a cool co-worker. That was fun and the food was yummy.

Finally I made it to a coffee shop for some work time. Good conversation, too. Some people are so sharming.

And now it's time to study for tomorrow's mid-term. Have fun storming the castle!
