Vocabulary Test
My offspring's vocabulary words this week happen to include some words I use quite regularly...let me illustrate...
1. elated ("I feel elated when my student's begin to call each other by name, request using 3-5 word sentences, and use the potty all by themselves!")
2. hilarious ("That shit is HI-larious"...while watching a particular friend try to put the moves on girls who clearly think he's just so-so, bless his heart)
3. humor ("My number one non-negotiable character trait for a guy is a sense of humor, particularly the dry, sarcastic kind, please")
4. hysterical (a word I used to describe the racist-bitchy-ass parent who yelled at me last week about the "spanish parents who hang around school all day" who were in line before her to sign their kids up for aftercshool classes...yeah, it's called caring about your children, bi-yaaaaatch...and did I mentioned this woman is Hispanic herself? WHATever.)
5. josh (ok, I don't use that word but it means to tease playfully)
6. joyous (a word I use to describe my state of mind when I'm getting a little sumthin-sumthin...an event that has been sadly lacking in my life for a little too long, thankyouverymuch)
7. mischievious (describes some of my little ducklings)
8. positive (I usually use this word when vocally declaring my certainty about an opinion -- usually it's when I'm really not sure but I'm trying to front!)
9. quirk ("He's a little quirky" which really means freeeeeeeeaaaaaak)
10. sneer (the look I give in regards to the stupid, vapid teachers that annoy me)
Vocab by way of ladeojosverdes...
