Weekend Update with La de Ojos Verdes

I had a busy weekend. Friday night was sushi and a bar with friends...great conversation and drinks on someone else always makes for a good time. Saturday was even better. Same bar and dancing to a friend's band with a cute boy. Gooooooood times. Then we all went over to someone's house and drank more beers, which led to some yummy kissyface time with previously mentioned cute boy. Not exactly the road to marriage and babies but who doesn't need a kiss or two now and then? Today, I went to a free outdoor concert with Bob Schneider and Sheryl Crow. I wouldn't call myself a "fan" of Sheryl Crow but the show was excellent. If I can figure out how to post pictures, I'll add some.

One might wonder, where's your kid during all this? Spending nights at friends' houses, birthday parties, Daddy's house, etc. My life as a chauffer.

Unfortunately, my work awaits me. I have to write an outline for a paper but I'm stuck. It's quite frustrating. My topic is how poverty negatively impacts children's learning abilities which then leads to referrals to special education..but I'm not dure how to flesh it out and detail exactly what I'm writing about. Arg.
