Procrastination

I'm supposed to be writing a paper...and I SO don't feel like it. This semester has been my least favorite by far. I have no motivation. And tomorrow night we get our mid-terms back. It could go either way for me. I felt like I did well but maybe I was just overly confident.

So I want to go to Mexico this summer and do a Spanish immersion program. Really bad. I want to get back to how I was for a little while in college...when I was on the verge of being fluent. A friend told me about a program in Xalapa and I checked out the website...but it lasts from mid June to late July. If I go that whole time, I won't be able to work this summer...and I need to work. I guess I should keep asking around and find a place I could go for the month of July. A girlfriend wants to go to Monterrey for a weekend sometime...that would be fun, too. And another one wants to go to Guanajuato (I think that's how it's spelled) over our winter break (after Christmas?). I hope all those trips happen as planned. I've never been to this side of Mexico (except for one trip to Nuevo Laredo, which was less than exciting). I've been down the coast of Baja several times and all around the California area of Mexico but I'm sure it must be very different.

OK, I'm rambling...time to work.
