Halloween

I love Halloween. It's such a fun holiday! I was undecided what to be...my choices were a spider and a go-go girl, neither of which I was very excited about. But I just put together a whole Audrey Hepburn ensemble and NOW I'm ready, dahlings!

This weekend I have boatloads to do. The madness begins tomorrow after school with me lending my car to the babydaddy so he can transport Offspring to a "meet & greet" with the basketball team he's about to start playing with. Then my co-worker/friend's baby shower back at school. Then our Fall Festival at school, which I'm helping with and need to be dressed up for. Then a friend's party. Next morning I teach Saturday school, which I need to actually be competent at, since last Saturday I was a mess. After teaching, I take Offspring to his school carnival and volunteer at the Haunted House. Then we go straight to his old school's carnival (Because his self-proclaimed girlfriend called to see if he could go...good lord, what the fuck happened to my life...my kid has a "girlfriend"? What does that EVEN mean?????). Then he goes back to Daddy's house and I'm off to some parties with girlfriends. THEN, Sunday I have a happy hour lunch with a couple friends and then it's off to take Offspring to a friend's Halloween party. Yeah, and I need to write a 15-page draft paper for grad school by Monday. What gives? When it rains, it pours.

And it's not getting any better through the end of November. Even IF I had boys knocking down my door for relationships, when would I fit THAT in?
