Honesty Is The Best Policy (seriously!)

So last night I decided I just couldn't finish that damn rough draft. So I emailed my profesora and asked for another week. I explained I just wasn't happy with what I was writing and was having difficulty getting the words onto paper. Which is true.

And she emailed me back and told me I could turn it in next week. I love it when I tell the truth and it actually works.

Now if only I could convince a couple people in my life to do the same. I say that because I know I obsess (both here and in my vocal life) about lying and vagueness and how much I fucking hate it. Fuckers.
