My Mom

My friends convinced me to be a) be excited about graduating and b) participate in the graduation ceremony. I thought since I've already graduated once it wasn't a big deal. But why not celebrate?

So, on a total impulse, I called my mom this morning and told her to come visit me and go to my graduation and she said yes. Except when I said, "How about a week?" she insisted on staying for two weeks. I seriously don't know anybody else who has parents that visit for so long. But this is my mom. She has to "get her money's worth" on a visit. So two weeks it is. I explained I had a lot of stuff going on that second week and that she'd have to entertain herself....but she didn't give up. At least she has a grandchild to keep her busy. She hasn't been here since 1998 I think...so how bad can it be? I'll be fine. Really. It'll be ok. Probably.
