two weeks ago my stepmom emailed me to tell me my dad had been thrown off a horse he was breaking in and suffered head and body injuries. she said he was airlifted to a hospital, taken to another hospital, and sent home bruised and doped up. since then, she said he's been forgetful and in pain but ok.

tonight, she im'd me to tell me he'd had a drink last night. he's an alcoholic and hasn't had a drink in 14 years. when he drinks he gets very happy. like so happy he cheats on my stepmom, sleeps with her niece,and moves into a trailer with some white trash woman. after that last bout 14 years ago, he promised never to drink again.

my stepmom is devastated and thinking of leaving him.
